One cool thing to do when making your city is put in land marks like round abouts so when you city is a 1000 years on, you can be like, "yea, that's where it all started." Or have an earthquake off set the land and just go with it. Give your city some character and don't just make it all square city blocks from the start and evolve it into a new York.

I'm just 17 mins in, but getting frustrated and laughing in the same time on the garbage mod. It's too small so they can't see it, but it's there on the garbage page...

Just in case anyone's curious, the cheat landfill thing did show up in the garbage menu. Since it's 1x1 it was so small they missed it but Jeff actually hovered over it a couple of times.

illosipuli Nah. It's on the Steam Workshop as one of the top rated maps. One of the players made a program where you take a picture of a Google map, import it into the game, and it does the heightmap drawing for you.

One thing that is awful about this game is that it has absolutely no auto save so I played it for hours today without saving and there was a power outage and I lost all of it... it was going really well too...

It actually was there, but I guess because it's a 1x1 building its picture in the menu was tiny. It was occupying the empty-looking space to the left of the regular landfill.

Just because its natural and in SimCity people went to work in the morning and drove home at nights (traffic). After playing the game for 4 hours straight I was really irritated at it being day only as well, it really grinded my gears.

"...you can play it offline if your want to..." there is no online, you can login into the Paradox account but I don't think that even does anything...
