The amusement park looks awesome! I remember when Sunflower was pretty cutting edge- it's amazing how much things have changed. I'm glad to see Palmdale getting so much attention- seeing the beach makes the bad weather here a bit easier.

The new DLC is great. Game changing imo, in terms of how you can get Cims to interact with the environments you make for them. I also really love the theme lark6 assets and don't hate the paver decal that comes with it. But the merry go round looks way better with just the small patch in the colourful pavers like you have it. Another great episode, man. Good work.

Nice. Hey recently I was in Northern California, andin the town of Ferndale I found 2 really unique (for me at least) cemeteries. The Catholic cemetery looked like an amphitheatre going up the hillside in tiers. There were great views of the town and countryside from the graves. Would be really cool to see something like this in a future build, in a small town/rural area.

Yeah, I'm headed in the opposite direction--heavy into Planet Coaster and now transitioning into Skylines all so I can make my own amusement park. Not sure how easy it'll be to balance both games at the same time--both take a lot of time to put episodes together. Your amusement park is shaping up very nicely! I love that you're actually doing backstage work, haha...that's impressive. I'm probably gonna lean on this video heavily once I make my version.

Wow man this is awesome like seriously as a New Yorker who has been going to Coney Island all my life this is the best based recreation I've ever seen in my life not to mention its a shame that I have to wait until next year for this park life DLC since I have this game on Xbox one plus I'm planning to make a Coney Island loosely based section my self in one of my tropical island city maps with the monorails going there just like the real life B.M.T's DFN and Q subway lines that go there.

yeah dude. love it, just don't touch my boardwalk! how about adding a Crazy Golf (putt-putt) somewhere in the city? I remember there being quite a few of them around Syd & Melb back in the late 80s.. I know you remember Wonderland Sydney, how about a "Wonderland Springwood" in the outer suburbs - not like the glitzy Luna Park, larger with petting zoo, go kart track etc. Oh yeah, waterslide park!

I love this little build! now it is very spruced up albeit run down :D Also I cannot believe how much better your existing roller coaster is to the DLC one, very very ugly and 'futuristic' Also thx for the tip on the tile decals, yeah hate those, but all the new props arn't half bad. I probably won't build a theme park in my city other than a carousel in downtown, but I can't wait to use the animated clock tower unique building for the center of a university campus... I'll shrink it down with PO Lastly your observation tower ride is looking dated, but the DLC one didn't fit the theme, perhaps you should darken it with TPB's painter mod, I use it to tone down so many 'bright' buildings Overall I think this DLC is the most useful since After Dark, & more so since it is more detailed focus! :) still debugging my save though...

anything you want, but I've only had the need to use it for buildings or to lower building that I think are too tall for my skyline into the ground since trees and props can be resized more easily with TPBs tree scaling and prop scaling mods

My main "annoyance" with this DLC (and the game overall really) is a lack of or at all non-existent visual interactions of cims with the environment and the things we place in our city. I was hoping for this dlc to have at least, for example FUNCTIONING benches as props or however. Because what are parks without park benches where cims can chill and enjoy the view instead of walking/pacing/running through the paths pointlessly. Dont get me wrong, i like the new content in general, the more the merrier but its a sad thing to see the new content being nothing but stand-alone structures or areas for cims to just pass through or stand at in some cases and thats about it. I wish cims could form lines to wait for their turns at attractions or food stands to make it look lively and busy (like bus stops when you dont have enough busses), have sims actually use/interact with the park, like sit on benches, some cims jogging in their sportswear, some cims come with their families (couple of elders, adults and kids), some having a picnic, using grills (functional grill prop?), playing with their pets e.t.c. Because I can already see building a park with props that no one interacts with and a few cims pacing through paths while in reality you got a huge number of cims using benches on (vanilla) residential/commercial lots midst of dirty city and parking lots (taking away cims from going where i DO want them to go chill in big numbers - parks.. So maybe new anims could/should have been added by now for cims to act differently and do something other than pace-walk and do same 3 stand idling anims. Like the newly added mascots anims/behavior could be added for the cims so they act like humans and explore the area, approaching and interacting with points of interest. Now though, from what ive seen, amusement parks look like insane asylums with barely any cims yet handfulls of costumed mascots prancing around, creepy sight really, especially as it gets darker.. But yeah, on another note, how DO you avoid the prop limit? Is it because of 32 gig RAM?

I am Pie There is no reason for it to break. The only thing that usually happens is that a couple of mods break, you wait for them to be fixed, and then you can play normally

how the fuck did ur game not get messed up after parklife. My game got screwed and i deleted all my mods and assets and i had to restart a whole new game cus my old saved game wasnt loading, i spent months on rebuilding my hometown Glendale, CA and i lost it all. My game won't even load right now and i spent hours in the workshop redownloading all the things i need to play and my game is all fucked cus of the mods and assets that have not been updated for park life. FML !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
