At 21:32-33 mentioned Late Lawyer Obeng Manu! That was my grandad whom we called at home Kofi MANU and was the then special assistant to Dr Nkrumah and his CPP and after the demised of Dr Nkrumah came to live in Kumasi till he died! What Papa Kuffor saying here is true, at the formation of the NPP my grandad who was a close pal to Onipa Nua ( Dr Awissi Boateng) whom was also a founding member of the party. To all those who know Kumasi well, Asafo Goil Filling Station ( Labour Roundabout) that was their place.

The mistake he did was not lobbying and rallying behind Alihu Mahama his vice in the npp’s congress. He supported Alan Kyeremateng instead which to me was a poor judgement on his part. A great leader.

All persons in leadership who want to do more are limited by time. In his case it was the 4th republican constitution. Similar case with Nkrumah. For a developing country term limits doesn't promote fast development. That is why Nkrumah's government declared the country a one party state and him president for life. More time to do more and focus on developing the country instead of using lots of resources every 4 years for elections. He had a vision for the country and would have done more if he stayed in power longer. To me he would been our best president ever had he left more capital investment. Different times though. He did his best. A great Ghanaian! PS. What is it with this constitution that we can't change for longer term limits. Clearly if he had stayed in power longer with the vision he had we would have been in a better position.

Ndc what were your arrangements for Ghana as a nation. Or you wanted the country properties to be shared for everyone to enjoy it. When npp fight to bring something into the country ndc will come and chop the money and sell the properties making Ghana poor
@gmog78574 жыл бұрын
I like some of the stuff he is talking about that he tried to do but couldn't, isn't that the reason why you have serious conversations with your successor and explain things to him? You guys are killing Ghana. He states he expected his successor to have continued but maybe he Kuffour did not even communicate that to ATTA MILLS before he even left office and now blaming him for it. These people are sabotaging Ghana big time. Now he is sitting around seeing Akuffo Addo doing the worse deals with China about the same Ghana Bauxite and not saying a damn thing about it why? Every Ghanaian should look at this beautiful Ghana forest that the criminal Akuffo Addo has given to the Chinese to destroy kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYSug2iPhbp8q5o

Mr. Attah-Mensah, I have been watching this show from the US for quite a time, but for the first time, I'm compelled to comment. It's because you don't seem to have what it takes to do interviews of this nature. If you are not willing to do the necessary research in order to ask questions, and the right ones for that matter, then better not do this show at all. It's a disservice to the people of Ghana to allow former president, JAK, to sit in the comfort of his home, which is part of the fraud package he put together when leaving office after eight years of "do nothing" presidency, to shade the truth or try to re-write history. It's unfortunate. In the end, he blames everybody else, including lack of adequate term period, but himself for his failures. Fortunately, some of us were around and witnessed all the mess and cannot be fooled.
@DrSamOA4 жыл бұрын
You wrote a lot of nothing. Saying his 8 year rule was a “do nothing” period shows you are either grossly dishonest or completely ignorant of the gains the country made. And if you followed the interview from the beginning, how would you even describe his home as part of a fraudulent package as if he is someone who can’t own several homes better than this even if he never became president. Oxford educated, over 40 years post qualification as a lawyer, a royal from a rich home and businessman, you think this man can’t afford as many houses as he wants? Just cur the crap and say something more sensible if you have any.
