There is a plastic post on the main plate of these movements that has a tendency to break. Seeing as the return spring for the setting mechanism rests on that post, it makes resetting the watch impossible. PIA, and the same movement, made by Miyota, still has the same inherent problem, 25 plus years later. Great video, mahalo for taking the time.

This is very cool. Trying to figure out why my digital portion will reset itself, causing the mechanical portion to be out of time. I can do a full reset, but it's annoying. Any ideas would be great.

@@SolimBD that was a very advanced tecjnology at that time, with double bridge flywherl quartz technology, spiced with 12 jewels.The main problem to this caliber is to remove the panel is not so easy.When the watch is not sharp you trying to cut cos it wad logically fast and slow technology without trimmer.One attempting regulating but cutiing will not reasure.Accordingly a few seconds per montj is satisfy me, I ve got a 3560 only 5 seconds per year
