Acquired one in Dublin, Ireland a few days ago. More expensive here than prices I see in the US. The mode switching could be better, but no more complicated than a casio. The lum is stunning and striking. Playing around with it over next few days. Good addition to the watch collection.

I have had the LE camo version for about two weeks and thoroughly enjoy it. Takes some time to figure out how to work the functions but once you do it’s easy. The digital display does light up but it’s not very bright. Just a solid, fun watch that you won’t worry about.

Well, for me it is The Watch, it is hard to be interested in any other watches now. Easy to use, even with gloves. Chronograph with 40 hours totalizer. Easy to set using buttons, not crown(because there is no crown), every hand is aligned perfectly

I have this watch, the black dial promaster land jv1007 on the rubber band, very confortable, the MIP display is very nice. What I miss is the radio controlled time adjusting. I have other promasters and the atomic time is great to have. The backlight is not the greatest compared to my older mudmaster, but the lume is great, everything is lumed including the citizen logo. The movement is very accurate, mine is +3 seconds on the first month of use, synchronized with a multiband casio. There is a light meter. It was on sale for about 500 euros. Citizen also launched another interesting watch, the promaster geo trekker, without the digital display but radio controlled. Maybe you have the possibility to review the geo trekker in the future. 👍👍👍👍👍

The MIP and size remind me of the Tissot T touch connect solar. Not a lot of ana/digi watches have the MIP display as yet and it gives a distinctive look.

I want a black dial in the black case. I really like everything else about this watch though, between legibility, lume and overall appearance. But i will have to get the gen one because I don't like the black bezel on the stainless case.

Agreed. My solar protrek is still kicking and has more function than this. But this design does look cool. I’ll probably get it if I find it for $300-$400 price range in a few months

I will say that the pushers are a little disappointing/deceptive, they have what appears to be knurling that indicate they are screw down but they are not. Not a big deal, but a small blemish in an otherwise awesome package.

Wrong. It’s solar quartz movement with a raft of functions, not some cheap movement that takes a $5 battery. Citizen are absolute front runners in the solar game.

@ …it’s a quartz watch,a module that didn’t require someone to sit there and polish every part or spent hours and days assembling, I’ve got a few eco drive watches and there very nice bracelets, but for $700 you can do better than just a bracelet.
