This was an amazing new song. Gaslighting controlling narcissistic people...i was raised by one. I know exactly how the fever feels. It's that same frustrating anguish feeling that leaves you destroying the mirror in front of you. You described it perfectly. Atmospheric madness. That is what the fever is like. When I felt that fever, I had to make a decision to claw my way out of that toxic relationship or risk destroying myself and everyone I cared about.

This song gave me goosebumps when I listened to it. I felt this you know. I once caught a toxic “fever” from the trauma I was in that I began spreading everywhere. It was bad. I lost friends along the way. Hurt people hurt others and I hated saying that so much because it’s like “how dare they say this about someone like me”. Sadly, however, it is true. Negative energy is contagious like a fever and healing from it requires steps. Just like you can’t decide to heal from a fever, you can’t decide when to heal from metaphorical fevers either. You have to take “medicine” whether that’s therapy, medications, or both.
