MAJOR WINNER!!! Folding style is ok because battery is secure (waterproof too), and metal casing for charging is good for the paranoid. Can put it in a cab if emergency. Key position is more secure. Giraffe stem has advantage of storage (backpack hanger). These bikes are also great for forward/athletic riding position. Amazing this bike hides both controllers inside. Suspension can be good enough for me/someone (stiff is ok by me. not bouncy/reboundy critical to me), but it is easier to upgrade down the line than motors or controllers. Display is decent entry level, with the best +/- interface. I think 65lb hardtail 750w ebikes are awesome. But 1000w or higher full suspension will start closer to 75lbs. I hate that seat for being heavy and pedal unfriendly. But potential buyers of my old ebike would like it as an premium upgrade with springs. Dual motor is just a massive torque upgrade over any single motor option. Being a super light dual motor ebike is a big advantage over more premium offerings. Range, pedaling, and muscling it around parking/storage spots is better. Dual motor/5 second 0-20, is just a massive advantage over other ebikes, including, the confidence to do 8 hours touring, snow, making time/keeping up with right lane car traffic in urban environment, cutting off traffic, pull heavy trailer, take an unknown trail that could include ridiculous climb. I've not super regretted my 70nm torque 65lb 15ah 18a ebike for $1150, though $1500 ebikes have caught my eye for power and features. This is by far the best $1500 ebike I've seen. Nothing compares to 36a dual motor torque. kd986 display is compatible. Affordable still with extra/dual (essential for all ebikes) battery. Minimal front wheel spin is nice/critical. The only feature (actually cheap feature) worth waiting for is that a regen-direct drive front motor is worth an extra 2-3lbs by far once you have accepted 82lbs as an awesome ebike. Heavier has the advantage of more secure. DD will mean even less wheel spin, and more reliable long range/lifetime operation. AWD ebikes also need the option of fwd only, because extreme range/continuous operation, and better performance/control pulling a trailer.

Take a look at the lankeleisi mg740. I got it for less than $1500 and its a mountain bike frame with hydraulic brakes, lockable suspension fork and dual 1000w motors with a 20ah samsung battery

Not sure how it can be called entry level with duel motors , most folders are single motor 750 watts 😂 duel suspension 1400 $ great specs so that makes it better than entry level think about it 😂

Have over 1000 hard miles on mine. I highly recommend it. I actually told hanevear he should send you a bike for review lol I'm probably the 300 lb test rider he was referring too. I call it my Billy goat. It climbs everything I ask it too.

I like this bike. Seems like you get your money's worth. Would not go off roading on it but if you need to hit the streets or go on bike trails this would be a good starter bike.

I’d say that is actually a really good deal. I have a couple folding style e-bikes and never fold them but why not have that option. I think for legal e-bike commuting this thing would be excellent for a college student or similar. Small enough to fit into a dorm or apartment and decent performance in every category. Btw I’ve had those DYISLAND brakes on a bike for a while now and they have never given any issues at all, quiet, strong and smooth. They are larger pads than most too.

This is basically a Lecttric XP 2.0 that Hanevear has added a bunch of goodies ( but unbranded grade goodies ? ) The only real question is actual low initial price versus unknown life of components. YGWYPF , my wife says. it looks like Hanavear has upped the ante in the price war between e-bikes and 50cc gas engine bikes. Gas 50's would be in 1st Place at this point, due to their better ability to take rough treatment from you kids. ( I'm a 77 yr old grandpa who rode dirt bikes for 40 years, so I think I can speak from experience about kids and rough treatment.)

Looks like a decent package ! It appears that they use brand name LG batteries 👍🏼. That may help to explain the good range.

i was shocked with the range. could be the LG cells, also the controllers are only 18amp so that may have helped too, they werent sucking a ton of power.

​@@trichards7616That akine doesn't tell you much. I think in a review of an ebike, the specific cell model should be listed, as it really matters and it's actionable. Not all lion cells are the same, even when its the same brand. I want to know what my options are if I want a little more power or capacity. If i know the model, I know it its a high c-rate, or high endurance cell; as well as letting me know what cells to use if I want to build a parallel pack and have them drain equally.

I bought two Lectric 3.0’s which were on my list of entry level e-bikes. An Ariel Kepler and Grizzly were on it too. Had this been available, there would have been little hesitation. I thought for sure you put a YLG saddle on and the mirrors. But, who supports it for parts and warranty? I also wonder if the frame is made by the same company that supplied Lectric? Perhaps the battery dimensions and connections are the same as either the Lectric 2.0 or 3.0 stepover? There are some steep hills by me and while the Lectric 3.0 handles them, one requires pedaling and I have a bad knee that isn’t getting any better.

The battery is likely a compatible standard to other folding ebike internal battery systems. Maybe dch9. But not likely Lectric compatible which would be smaller dch6

I bought a folding bike, seldom use it cause i ride around my area, so i thought I made a mistake buying it. Just the other day I got invited to join a small group to ride in the Everglades which is about 45 mins away from me, so this time the folding mechanism came in handy.

What a great folding bike for anyone who wants a hill climbing beast at a bargain price. I only wish it had a better fork that doesn't bottom out so easily. It really depends on your size. This is,a good function over form bike . It will get the job done in most cases. I wish I knew why you got such good range on it . That is a mystery . I hope others are getting similar results . Great video.

You got to zoom in on the front fork setup!! Especially since u have had issues with dual motor and fork issues. Torque arms? Thickness of molding on dropouts? lock nuts?? Need more info and time spent on that front fork! Also, My Polarna M6 came with 17.5ah fold battery. You can purchase 16ah 52v battery that will fit in there. My Polarna M6 17.5ah fold battery goes almost 50 miles throttle, single 1000w motor 30a controller. H100 with a 30ah controller would rival c4 bikes but that battery would last 10 miles.

Bought this in July of 2023. Shopped for 3 weeks before making the move. I'm 64, 6'0" and 210 lbs. Seats awesome (spring). (not interested in wrecked rectum). I needed a foldable (vacation beach house in Newport). I live on a steep street which is a non-issue with both 750 watt brushless motors. BTW... Those side buttons that don't do anything?... are activated by pushing both the up and down pedal support buttons at once...then the side buttons are your menu, select and adjust buttons. Ya have to ride it around and get to know it....took me a week or 2. Love it, comes with EVERYTHING...even a USB port (hidden under the display screen...see if you can find it...has a rubber dust cover. Bought the front rack before the bike arrived for water bottle and valuable stuff you want to be able to see while riding...it's SOLID! If you turn off the motors and just coast or pedal it charges the batteries!......just kidding, no it doesn't.

I'm also a non-advocate of folders, especially with narrow handlebars (for me; others may have different opinions). I have an old Hon folding (non "e") and it's OK with wider bars and fine for family park events, but otherwise, no.

For the features. Dual motors have been 3k plus for a year. Sub 2k are now coming out. There’s cheaper great bikes for cheaper out there.

What I received from company is vague on specs lol. But here it is; Upgraded rotors to 180mm Rack up to 80lbs BMS UL tested 2849 not UL certified 2771 Ea motor 750w but only 800 peak per motor? Sounds low to me 80nm torque The button you say does nothing, they say changes display brightness if headlight is off lol Ya the suspension looks terrible. The dual motors are cool but if only 800 peak watts that’s pretty low compared to single 750’s that can peak up to 1200w. On the fence due to suspension, peak watts and that key hanging off bottom you can’t remove, buttons and grips look cheap . It does have good things battery 16ah, hydraulic 180 brakes, 4a charger, decent tires and color display, 80nm torque. On the fence, as just looking at bike not the freebies they toss in it has almost bad = good. Lol. Ugh.

So, I have been researching foldable eBikes for the past two week and have found that they all look identical with the exception of just a few features and frame enhancements, even their website are nearly designed the same. Personally I think the whole industry is a big ripoff. If you look at the prices they range from $779.00 to $1490.00 for the same bike. They really fall under that old saying, if you seen one, you’ve seen them all. My piece of advice to anyone interested in a eBike, do your shopping.

Cool but I've seen dual 1000 watt motors on cheaper bikes. They usually have a 1 to 2 hundred shipment charge even for a prime member. One I see now is $850 with $150 delivery.

Just because they call them 1000w motors doesn't mean they are. They are almost certainly 750w nominal; 1000w peak motors. Actual 1000w geared hub motors are fairly rare, and typically referred to as 1200w motors.
