@@mikeallan7814 true. VW group, Hyundai Group and Ford Ecoboost with 95 or 100hp engines are far greater than this one. Myself, I have a ford 1.0 125hp MHEV Reached 210 and the car still new, only have 1270km

Thank you for the demonstration of the most innefficient way to use a small, long stroke turbocharged petrol engine. Did you know this is not a VTEC engine ?

I know this isn't a VTEC engine. The point of the video is not efficiency but gaining top speed as quickly as possible. The engine reaches peak power at 5.500 rpm, therefore, I shift near that area.

@@SuperchargedMagazine www.guillaumedarding.fr/images/couple_puissance_Puretech_EB_TURBO_130ch.png As you can see power curve is almost flat past 3500 RPM. So to reach top speed there's no need to push intermediate gears, better use as soon as possible the last gear. Interesting video indeed.

Bei über 180 km/h kann der Verbrauch schon mal etwas höher sein und das bei fast jedem Auto. Ist eigentlich logisch, da muss man kein Ingenieur sein...!
