I love how it hasn't been over restored. In my mind it makes it so much cooler.

Great episode! 40 years old tires keep pressure because there is inner tube inside like in the bike 🙂

LOL, I thought these episodes all had numbers because of them being on a (local) TV station next to YT 🤣

originally, when the channel started I was in talks to have it produced for a streaming service and then later a local PBS. It was made as a proof of concept type of deal. Anyways, obviously that never worked out but I like the format and just kept it. Thanks for watching !!

2 minutes in and have to comment. A Virage! Superb, especially considering it has a manual transmission. Does it have the 6.3 conversion? My absolute dream car is the twin supercharged Vantage variant. I don’t know if there are any state side or not. That car alone, if I had the means, is what it would take for me to move back to the UK. I was fortunate enough to do 2 weeks work experience at the Newport Pagnell factory during high school when that car was current and got to go out in a few. Totally insane. Anyway, back to your vid... 😊

I could NOT be more excited about the Virage. that is an era of Aston I simply love to bits. The hand built wonders built in that era are VERY underrated and will no doubt become valuable collectibles. I will save more details about the car for the video. I so appreciate you catching that. The twin supercharged cars are absolute beasts. I got to see one run at a goodwood. To my knowledge there are none stateside. Thanks so much for watching!! Cheers!

@@TimsEnthusiastGarage I’m really looking forward to that video. There’s hardly any info on the Esprit and you did a wonderful job there but there’s considerably less on the old V8s. It’s very difficult to find any info on the Vantage because you have to sift through all the modern stuff. I was always amazed how visually different the Virage and Vantage were. AM did a tremendous job on the styling. The interior too - the binnacle in the Virage is black vs the walnut of the Vantage. You’re very fortunate to have a manual. In my experience as a passenger it makes it a different car. I was driven in a Vantage with a 3 speed auto conversion and it killed the car. So in the opposite vain I can imagine a Virage, which would typically be an auto, having a manual would be a real treat.

C'est une Citroën ID 19 et non une Ds19😉

It has parts from both cars! It was a conversion . Cheers!
