Merveilleux de voir tout ce patrimoine conservé, bichonné par ces passionnés. J'ai bien aimé le TUB immatriculé dans la Loire (42), bien loin de son fief d'origine!

In '74 my dad bought a 1973 Citroen SM that served him well as a daily driver for 2 yrs. But he took care of all maintenance himself. Inc. the frequently needed carburetor syncing of the 3 deuces. What impressed him most, was the 4 incredibly huge inboard brake rotors (like race cars), that could stop this beast from it's top speed dead straight w/o so much as a squeal. The brake pedal was just a button. With Tight Speed Sensitive Steering it handle more like an Indy car than a street car! :D

and OMG la Traction in 1:13 !! even in France it is rare nowadays to see a such Traction ina good erstauration like this congratulations also for this job !!

ah ah le citron (le camion gris) je me rappelle quand on etait dans le groupe de rock , on transportait le matériel dedans ; la caisse touchait terre presque, mais toujours conduit a bon port a 50 km:h, sans accident, sans panne et mal partout

great! in aug 57 I saw my first ds at wheelus ab libya px, it was practically on the ground. The owner started it up and it came up to driving level :) I drove a 2cv in 97 in england - fun fun! and lastly I saw a truckette eons ago in Davenport Iowa, the driver was smiling - I wonder why? :)

@holitoo Merci pour les compliments. A 4:34 c'est bien une Peugeot (504) cabriolet. Il y a des DS break ici mais effectivement plus rare. J'en connais même des hydrauliques qui sont encore plus rares. Je suis bien Français et vie ici depuis 27 ans maintenant. A bientôt, Phil.

@philcaron J'imagine que ça doit être un véritable bonheur pour vous! Mis à part la 4L et la R16, il n'y a pas beaucoup de Renault. Y a til des club Renault aux Etats-Unis? J'ai eu la chance de séjourner en Californie l'an dernier et je n'ai vu qu'une Traction dans la banlieue de Los Angeles. J'aurais bien aimé voir d'autres french cars mais elles sont rares.

Bonjour, savez vous pour quelle raison Citroën n'a pas de concession aux USA ? A cause de la DS. Pour ne pas faire venir cette voiture qui avaient 50 ans d'avance par rapport à la technique des voitures américaines de l'époque; ils imposaient de mettre des pare chocs comme les vieux taxis new-yorkais, horribles (sous prétexte de sécurité)... Citroën a refusé... Et a quitté les USA. (Comme le Concorde avec sont bruit 'trop fort'').

@randrianabel yes i know the mehari was imported in the USA I have a 1969 mehari us spec car and it still run good. The dyane6 was to but not so many numders I've been told.
