That was really interesting, you can see a significant difference. Thinking about doing it myself I have a Toyota Yago I have a feeling I won’t need to modify the seals, because my seals are much the same as that of the Yaris. 👍🏻

The Aygo has the same standard injectors as the C1. Some people have fitted Yaris injectors by just fitting different o-rings, but I’ve also heard of them coming out and spraying fuel everywhere hence why I modified mine to fit better

Not too bad for one of these, I think it helps that it’s a boggo basic with no electric windows or anything. Even standard it’s much nippier than the mrs’s 5 door which has aircon etc, not anywhere near as quiet or smooth lol.

Great vid It's a learning curve fu*king about is how we all learn how to do things. You have to treat modern cars as an integrated system of air, fueling, exhaust and then map the ECU to extract the power. I was always told that 100 BHP per ton makes a car fun therefore an Aygo with the 1KRE engine would need an extra 25% BHP or 23 BHP over standard. I think that would be a big ask normally aspirated however there are turbo kits available!!!

Cheers mate. Yea that would be an ask for n/a, but from what I’ve seen they don’t respond too badly to remapping and other simple mods. Might go down that route one day to see 🤷‍♀️

My engine is completely standard apart from a bike exhaust, and the injectors are a worth while upgrade even on a standard engine in my opinion. This is the exhaust, but probably doesn’t really do anything for performance tbh. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaLGZ6eZdpp4obc

What if you also put the Yaris fuel pump on with induction kit and sports exhaust ?

I don’t think fuel pump would make any difference as the duty cycle for the injectors won’t be enough to drop the pressure from the standard pump as most standard fuel pumps are way overkill for the delivery required. I think it would work, as it’s the same engine but I’ve never seen it done on a mk2 so can’t be certain. Mk2 have different engine management I believe

If you fit them the same way I have then they would be ok tbh. A lot of people seem to fit them with no issues though

@@evka3220 here I fitted them with no remap and worked well. I ran it for about a year with no remap and no issues, remapped the car a couple of months ago but it’s not required to get the gains shown in this video

Hi mate, thanks and will keep churning out the vids whenever I can. As for the injectors, yes there is a definite improvement with them. For £40 or so deffo worth it in my opinion. It does use a bit more fuel though. I used to get about 42-45mpg or so normal town driving, now I only get about 39-40, but I can live with that for all the extra BHPs.

Hello mate,my Peugeot 107,water leak,I have done the top brake light, the vents under bumper,rear lights,and a new bigger hatch seal,plus a extra seal above hatch seal,but amazingly it is still letting in water on the rear left side,now I know your a funny guy,so before you say burn it,any ideas,cheers Paul

Honestly mate, recheck what you’ve done and check that the bulb holder in the light is clipped in properly as there is a seal around that too. On the first one I did it took two attempts to get the bumper vents to seal. Failing that, stick a car cover over the shagger?

The Yaris injectors I would recommend, but a little modification is needed to them to make them fit really (see my other video on them). You’re only ever going to gain a bit really without spending good money, but bang for buck I feel these are worth it. As for ram air filter, I tried that too in another video and it worked surprisingly well, but unless you have a sealed forward facing large cold air feed with a straight path to the throttle body then the most likely thing you’ll gain is a bit of induction roar… not that that’s such a bad thing either.
