Thanks for the video. We have a problem with our Dispatch. The heaters would occasionally work, they did this for around a month, then completely stopped working and since the van has been stood doing nothing, after watching your video we managed to find the fuse which you indicated and found it had melted! Popped another fuse in and it’s working! But there seems to be an issue as about 10mins after fixing it the fuse blew again so need to dig further. Thanks though, very helpful.

Excellent video thanks. Have a Peugeot 308 2009, very similar wiring, wasn’t fuse box supply was the first connector at glove box had burnt out causing volt drop to resistor plug, so worth checking that for any one else with same issue. Explains why leading up to failure fan was intermittently working.

Hi mate. Did you change fuse box and relay on that citroen 2014? I have same issue as soon as fan blower it plugged voltage drops to zero. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hello Rich. Any further updates on this video I have the same problem and have traced it back to the fuse box. Blower works fine from power being delivered at the grey wire on the fuse box connection. Did changing the fuse box solve the issue and did you haft to re code the ECU fuel pump or injectors?

Resolution to this problem run a new ignition live fused to the fan red lead

You do realise that the fan relay is only energised on these when the engine is running??

When this sort of thing happens - bypass the crappy official electronics and put in your own sender unit - their system is designer failure and it will just keep causing problems.......its called planned obsolescence......SHITRON are simply the worst for this - their diesel fuel systems are a good example of planned obsolescence.
