Wow just simple amazing work my friend, it really inspires me!. What paint do you use for engine head and other metallic parts (oil pan and trasmission)
@A4Garage3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I used an flat aluminum(on oil pan) silver(on transmission) and then little washing and weathering on it.

Brilliant! I never owned a DS but I had a Light 15, remarkable similarity between the engine/transmission/front brake layout. I often wondered what a DS looked like "under the hood" - thank you!

I really enjoy watching your videos! When you connected the distributor, you connected it in the order 1-2-3-4! But the firing order for an in-line four-cylinder is 1-3-4-2. It's just a small detail but perfects your model a little more.
@A4Garage2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I'll take that into consideration. Thanks.

I’ve watched your videos a couple of times now, and I gotta say the evolution of your cinematography is amazing. A year ago you were putting together finished, painted manufactured pieces. When I watched it the first time I have to admit I assumed wrongly that the pieces you were putting together, were out of the box. Over the next few projects, you started showing the process of how you manufactured these pieces. The WOW factor has gone up steeply, it is truly fascinating to watch you work. The scale alone makes it remarkable. Not only are you glueing together pieces probably smaller than I can see without my glasses, you are reproducing objects in that scale by copying and modifying these minuscule fragments of plastic and metal, and in the end it is recognizable as a real world object in 1/24 scale. The Mini is going to be amazing! Love your work!

This video is something for absolute nerds, who are willing to spend many weeks or months to build such a -surely excellent- model. I regard myself to be an experienced modeler so I would dare to build such a model too, but nevertheless I wouldn't do it because it is expensive, time consuming and difficult to obtain all the materials mentioned in this video. In 7:05 you mention for instance "MFH 0,4 mm wire". It took me some time to find out, that MFH probably means Model Factory Hiro, a Japanese (?) manufacturer. But this item was nowhere available and it is only one example. For the overwhelming majority of modelers this and similar videos are not very helpful and express a certain need for recognition...
@ismaelmetero41212 жыл бұрын
Not helpful? It helped me a lot. Sorry to say Fasold, but your comment suggests to me you're jealous you don't have the talents or patience to can do this.
@noogie19672 жыл бұрын
Nonsense. These videos have inspired me to do better and I'm an modeler. As for materials, be creative. Eg. I found an old analog telephone, pulled it apart and there is plenty of wire of different thicknesses for modelling.
