your a life save mate, took the middle bolt off the top shock mount because was following a C3 Coil spring replacement and spend hours trying to put it back on, now I know I just need to remove 3 bolt on the top mount 😅

Nice video and very learnful. Thank you for that| In my Fiat Qubo I have a 'bonking' noise when turning the wheel. When doing so, I can see that the spring doesn't rotate smoothly on the top mount bearing. So probably only the top mount bearing needs to be replaced. Is there a way to just unmount this peace and replace it without unmounting the whole shock absorber and spring? Or maybe I could try greasing the bearings without unmounting the top mounts completely?

Just bought one of these and has a new spring fitted , but one of the bottom coils had broken .. very easy to replace , but found the last person had fitted the top strut washer in the wrong place. Used cheap spring compressors, and had a sweat on whilst using them .

Hi Would have changed the top mounts while doing that as they seem to do low milage currently having to pau £350 for pair of top mounts to be sorted
