On Citron EA FC 25 it works, on Ryujinx the Windows version crashes during the game, and the Mac Os version somehow miraculously works, the past creators of Ryujinx finished the games well, it was a good project..

Next time, could you kindly test Unicorn Overlord? There's some weird slowdowns on this game, before characters are about to use any spell or special attack, the game randomly drops the framerate on both emulators (maybe this is a thing because of my old ryzen 2600, who knows). After loading and compiling shaders, the slowdown remain a thing. Anyway, quality video as always

Unfortunately Citron's Discord server does not accept new invites anymore and I wanted to ask for advice because it does not run on Linux, due to a missing library. One advantage I found is that Yuzu forks support Gsync on Linux, as opposed to Ryujinx forks.

I have better performance in Zelda TotK with Citron, BUT I experience random vertex explosions and random shader corruptions. Ryujinx is more stable, but sometimes it crashes in caverns, caves or near waterfalls. I would like to know if it's possible to avoid those issues

when testing mario party jamboree, just go to the minigames and straight up play basketball, that minigame is really hard to emulate and has graphical issues

Ryujinx canary games directory can't listed more than one NCA file games, it will only detect one path at the time. This is the biggest issue I have faced.

I’d like to upgrade my PC at the beginning of the year-I even prepared for it. However, with Intel’s processors having reliability issues within a year and AMD’s weaker processors, I’ll have to wait a little longer. For comparison, I was considering the Ryzen 7 9700X, but seeing that it has fewer cores than an i7 13700F and delivers slightly less performance made me give up on the purchase immediately.

I would recommend looking at the RPCS3 cpu tier list. Just because a CPU has less cores doesn't nessisarly mean its the weaker CPU. Especially with intel having P and E cores. i7-12700k would probably be the best upgrade for your machine Don't go beyond 12th gen intel tho. It's a coin toss on quality after that. I personally use a Ryzen 7700x and have had no issues emulating anything other than hard crashes in Ryujinx.

my rule of thumb with these emulators was that Ryujinx ran worse but usually had the better emulation of graphics than Yuzu, but yuzu was faster.

I recommend testing the new Canary versions. There’s a performance boost, even though the development team denied it when I asked GreemDev directly. Maybe over the weekend, I’ll make a practical video to prove that there really has been some kind of improvement.

They are basically on the same level, but it seems that Torzu has been implementing some features that come out first on Citron, and Citron also adopts features that debut on Torzu. However, Citron still performs better at higher resolutions. Our perfect multiverse would be both emulators working together.

Half of these games run better on S23 ultra Yuzu last EA version than on citron... for example arceus that i'm 18 hours into 🤣 All of these forks are somehow worse than original Yuzu.

@@AlexwpiGame Did it. Still not better. Will wait and try again in few months. Yuzu with right driver for correct game does wonders. Problem with all these yuzu forks are still memory leaks on harder games. After around 30-60 mins of gameplay, performance just drops and soon crashes. After waiting few mins, phone releases ram and you can play it again. Pokemon games and xenoverse 2 with Turnip revision 15 + initial a750 support works without any stutters and crashes or memory leak, very few minor graphic glitches which are fixed by just reloading area. Phone doesnt even get hot like on other drivers. But harder games like revelations 2, re6 work on v25 messa drivers but like i said, after 30-60 mins, drops. I'm just glad autosaves dont get corrupted so i can just save when that happens and reload again. You can do several tweaks for every game inside emulator, but only async shaders, right gpu driver and resolution do difference, other options do minor or no changes. I miss Yuzu team :(
