Hi Folks. I noticed recently some FaceBook friends asking for information about what to do about the horrible ugly Galls, the deformed woody lumps on the stems of their Citrus Trees. This is due to the Citrus Gall Wasp, another insect problem that's occurring more often in the Suburbs. As more people are growing backyard fruit and nut trees as well as vegetables, some insect pests (and diseases) can spread quickly from yard to yard.
This problem is becoming quite common on Citrus Trees in the Suburbs of Australia. Actually I've even seen this pest or something very similar attacking young rainforest trees too. The solution is very simple. Knowledge is power! Once you understand this pest and how to deal with it you shouldn't have much of a problem with it anymore. This video and the link provided should give you all of the info you need to eliminate this pest and keep further outbreaks under control.
Here's the link for a more complete understanding of this pest. "Citrus Gall Wasp Control in your garden" www.yates.com.au/plants/probl...
Good luck and happy gardening. :-)
Thanks so much for watching and don't forget to subscribe.
I have advanced COPD, (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), a serious terminal lung problem. They say there's no cure and been told I'm probably not going to live too much longer, but hope to prove 'em wrong. Here's some COPD info en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic... If you'd like to donate to help me keep making videos before I croak, and also move to a place with cleaner air, here's the link, and thanks from the bottom of my heart. Cheers!
