I grow Meyer lemon in garden but I grow against my house in ground I used old fashion Xmas light bulb And I use frost cloth when deep below temp

I’m trying to find the best soil to use for citrus trees. I bought vigoro potting mix, pumice and lava rocks to mix in with it. What else would you recommend me adding in? I’m currently looking on Amazon for sand that works for citrus but I’m not sure what would work best. Any recommendations?

Will a greenhouse keep them warm enough all winter?

How do they heat the greenhouse?

They use a space heater when the greenhouse itself gets below 45F or so, b/c they grow some really delicate plants they brought with them from Florida.

Do you ever root-prune and re-pot? I've never grown citrus in pots. I miss fresh lemons so much...
