A friend showed me Dallas about 17 years ago - His music has been the soundtrack to my life, what a sensational artist.

The Rhodes keyboard adds a lot to the feel of this song!

You mean the organ tune on the Nord. I think he is not playing Rhodes in this song. But nevertheless, Matt's playing really colours up the songs :)

Brilliant! He’s still got it. The step up in production is very nice and I’m glad to have the strings that I always heard in my head, but I will always be fond of the early raw approach. So much pain in this world. OA gives it voice.

I almost prefer Dallas solo. Stripped down. There’s something palpable about watching a man perform alone, a song he wrote, alone. Highlights the thematics of strength and perseverance and self-sufficiency. Like, an, “I am enough” experience. That, and he just doesn’t even need a band.

His solo cut of this was so raw and spine gripping. This version almost sounds triumphant so I appreciate it. Such purity with Dallas
@LiamLeddy6 ай бұрын
I personally prefer with his band with him on this song. Doing this song solo seems little boring. In my opinion.

I prefer a solo Dallas. Great track though.

manque le solo de guitare qui demmare mais ne s'acheve pas dommage et fin trop calme

Idk why I don’t like this version as much at all. Too many instruments going on not the same emotion.
