Can absolutely say that Dallas is the best live performer I’ve ever seen to date. His voice is full of pain, suffering, love and grief and it’s almost a religious experience listening to him

He and his music used to be soooooooo much better. Last couple albums he lost me. As a fan since early AOF, his new music I personally find boring and empty.

Not only that, his audio engineers are always top tier. There are a lot of great performers whose performances sounds rough because the mix is awful. Everything is always as it should be in his live performances. What should sit back in the mix does and when certain things need to ring through they always do.

@@robfeldschun6146this new album is his best since Little Hell in my opinion. Generally I would agree though. His music is still top tier though. He has his entire life to write the first few albums, he had months to write the ones after. Most artists don’t continuously top their early work. Nothing will ever beat Sometimes for me. Nothing. But he’s still releasing incredible music.

Whoever did sound on this entire performance deserves a massive raise. Especially for video sound. Dallas' voice is already amazingly angelic and wonderful, but they really captured the essence of the entire band and his vocals. Absolutely amazing 🎶🎵🎙

If I could gather up all the hate Light a match and burn it all away Then with compassion in my voice I would sing this song In hope that we might find a better way And bow down to love Bow down to love Bow down to love And when I think about all the pain That the carnage of wealth always leaves in its wake And how nowadays it seems that we fear ourselves the most Well, I hope you can find some solace in this poem And bow down to love Bow down to love Bow down to love Let's come down easy Let's come down easy Let's come down easy Let's come down easy And bow down to love Bow down to love Bow down to love Bow down, love Bow down to love Bow down to love

This might be my favorite video of all time. Been a HUGE Dallas fan for years, including the AOF stuff. I’ve watched this countless times. I was fortunate enough to hear them play this live back in May, and I lost myself for a while. It was like being engulfed in sound. Borderline psychedelic. That jam at the end is somethin special. Thank you for writing this one gentlemen 🤘🏼

@@jbuck566 yeah it was special for sure. On their studio version of this song, the end tapers off. But only in their live recordings do they continue jamming like they did when I saw it live. I’d love to see them again. Although I did see Alexisonfire a few months after saw City and Colour so that was pretty cool but I did not get enough since they opened for Avenged Sevenfold and only got like 4-5 songs in. Oh well, I’ll take it where you can get it lol

He’s worshipping a God he doesnt yet know. Christians will see something deeper in his lyrics. John said in one of his letters that God is love. This is a song written about Jesus Christ without the author having known who he wrote it about. Its beautiful how the Lord uses all to glorify Himself.
