3:14 the different finishes of the cotton often derive from the weaving method. For example a cotton gabardine looks way different from cotton seersucker. Therefore, it's good to know beforehand what these terms mean when shopping for clothes with different textures but the same materials.

It goes back well before 2012. The magazine has used the term City Boy since the 1970's.

ur probably the only fashion channel that I can stand, everyone is so over the top and trying to flex every chance given, not saying they people cant have expensive stuff, but when the sole purpose of buying something is that it's expensive and people know it is, wtf are you doing? either way, thank you

That's very good feedback. I'll keep this in mind and always try to keep it real :)

you feel like a genuine person, looking forward to more videos, and just for clarification, I'm not saying you shouldn't showcase and suggest items in the more expensive side, I just appreciate the fact that you talk more about the style and "art" of clothing, instead of branding. keep it up

I feel this man. I'm a normal dude as well into fashion trying to learn about different fashion cultures and I've cringed at some of the bigger KZbin channels. They don't seem like real people lmao

I like this style as a foundation, it's easy to build off of and incorporate other styles. I change my style from minimal to maximal day to day, that's not easy, having basics and dressing like this leisurely helps...

I also notice a loafers in a lot of reference images! I gues that's part of the preppy style it is inspired from

You should add more comments with pictures for references like you did at @5:13 as it makes the video more interesting!

lol I chuckled when you showed the black pant but your lighting is sooo dark. >____< Not my style but love your video, looking forward for more. I think the baggy stuff isn't going to work for short people like me.
@TheSecondLoft3 жыл бұрын
I thought that too as a short person but I only wear wide loose pants nowadays. Surprisingly, it doesn't depend too much on your height

What do you think about Converse for city boy fits

I prefer the Vans old skool but Converse also works! It's definitely a plus for the outfit
