It's George Strait, that's why it sounds like traditional country, he was always traditional country. One of the best.

This was a throwback even for the ‘80s. It’s straight up Western swing, baby.

As others have commented with 60 #1 songs, there are many great songs out there. "The Chair", "The Fireman", and "You Know Me Better Than That" are some of my favorites.

George Strait always has been and still to this day sings traditional country music. He is the King of Country music for a reason. Check his huge range catalog. Todays version of GS /traditional country is Cody Johnson

King George carried the traditional (sometimes called "neo-traditional") into the '80s and beyond. 60 #1 songs tells the story.

George is always traditions, but you are correct, this is 80's country. Very 'country'. I love one he did in 2008.Older & reflecting on his career. Cool song & the video is basically clips of his career as well as his rodeo days. George has 60 #1 hits so there is a huge catalog to choose from. Cute? 'Check yes or no'. Heartbreak? 'You look so good in love', love song? Carrying your love with me for a spunky one or 'Love without end, amen' to name just a few.

Anything George Strait sings is ok by me. Try "Fireman" or "You Look So Good in Love".

No one like Geo Strait - King of Country Music. I suggest you try Home Free, a strictly acapella group. They record a lot of country videos, but also sing all genres. Some videos are of original songs, but they do a lot of covers - although their fans - known as Home Fries - call them upgrades. They won the third season of Sing Off and have 250 - 300 videos out. I think you will appreciate their talent. “Man of Constant Sorrow” is one of my favorites. Hint: The more Home Free reactions, the more subscribers you will have.

Yes George Strait is p[retty traditional ... especially when compared to Garth Brooks😷BTW I have a Grand Aunt named Dimples but she lived in Houston which unfornately doesn't rhyme🤣🤣

Check out Junior Brown. He made an instrument called the guit-steel. He can play hard country to Hendrix. He's a bit of a ham; but very talented. His wife plays acoustic guitar on stage with him. I know that you don't usually watch videos but this one is really funny. My Wife Thinks You're Dead. Enjoy; hope you dive in.

A great suggestion. I would suggest at least once (on channel or not) watching him perform live. His showmanship is incredible. My wife Thinks You're Dead, shows off his voice, but consider also reacting something where he shows off his guitar playing. His surf Medley and Freeborn Man are both incredible.
