Oh yeah, it's mind-blowing here in the desert when the conditions are right. I'm in Taos, N.M., not far from where these guys were. But the weather's been cloudy lately. Plus I'm indoors working on a computer, not out camping. :) Done it plenty of times though.

As a horseback rider I have loved these last two vlogs. Your horse, Dusty, is so cute. It's actually a dream of mine to go out in the desert like how you guys did. I ride English but I think it would be so much fun. The desert landscape looks so beautiful, I can't imagine what it would be like at night underneath all of the stars. Both the canter and the gallop are generally much smoother than the trot, though some breeds have smoother gaits than others! That lightning was so cool though. And the cowboy way does seem to suit you quite well, Louis ( :

Lol Louis for gallop you need to have a developed position :P gallop is a 4 beat gait where all the horses hoofs hit the ground at different times. It looked like you where just cantering as there was only three beats in the horses step?

Have always loved all of your vlogs, but the last few days on the ranch and riding the horses with Steve, Dave & Mike , have been epic, your right Louis, it suits you and Dave being Cowboys ,Steve looking good too, but he does look slightly nervous at times around the horses, and horses are such clever creatures, they sense who is nervous and they act up, as it showed when Steve was doing his horses hooves, you all seemed to have so much fun, thanks for sharing
