The instrumentation in the bridge in particular, and the dynamics of this song remind me a bit of the song Temptation, however that comparison might be a bit of a stretch haha.

nah man, lovely comparison. when his voice drops to lower octaves he gets a kind of retro vocal style, and the intermittent use of synth also reminded me of new order :) now i know how to describe them to people haha
