I just realized something 4 minutes into the video. I been watching these guys for maybe 5 years when Damon used to just own a Ferrari with some type of Zebra print. Well these guys have become much more successful in life over the past 5 years buying elite level cars, owning shops, flying private ammassing followers etc. I've gone completely the other way around. After seeing ALLLLLLL those people out on the street blocking those trucks, I knew there was absofreakinlutely NO WAY those parties were going to last. It's unfortunate because it looked like a lot of fun, but I can 100% guarantee, the drivers sleeping in those trucks were PISSED! Not only could they not sleep, it was almost impossible for them to move, whether it be because they were blocked in or they didn't want to break DOT law by moving their truck which would have jacked-up their clock on the truck's Electronic Log for their driving time for the next day. You guys really need to think about doing things like this in industrial areas and ports where truckers park for their mandatory by law, 10 hour break. They will complain to someone.

Private property rules. Lawyers can help you because they have no right to say who can come on your property. Neighbor kind of being a dick. You can’t police public streets but you are allowed to hold private events on private property as long as rules aren’t broken on YOUR property, you can continue doing them and if they serve you with a warrant saying you aren’t allowed, a court case will settle it for you and you won’t have any future problems. Sure they cannot legally tell DDE who they can have on their property However they can easily issue a disbursement order, shutting down everything outside of the event. Which would either force DDE to allow everyone outside onto the property in which case it would then be shut down for health and safety capacity laws, or shut the event down entirely and comply with the disbursement order and allow only those with vehicles parked on their property to remain on the property. Furthermore, depending on the scope of what happens remember DDE doesn’t own the property… which means the Landlord would be within its right to evict DDE from the headquarters if their are actions that could constitute liability on the landlords part because of DDEs actions. Goes a lot deeper then Police and neighbors suck man…..

Long before the block parties, I said there is something called noise pollution and air pollution, so you may not want to use The Block the way you were. Now, your neighbor and the police or Sheriff's Department agree. They should have been included on the planning to begin with. You can hire off duty officers to help with your policing.

There's a reason that Caffeine and Machine have their events as paid ticketed events. The cost A) helps sort out the good guys from the bad guys. People looking to cause trouble and not properly participate are less likely to pay for a ticket. It B) helps provide a limit to the number of people coming. You can have a fixed number of available tickets and can limit how many people turn up so you can safely run the event and not have people spilling out onto the street. and C) The cost doesn't have to be expensive, but that little fee for the ticket can help pay for the event and help offset some of that $28,000 cost. Others have tried these events before, seen the problems and learnt the lessons.

Cleetus unfortunately won't have that racetrack for very long. It's being turned into residential. They've already went wayyyyy past the no build zones to get closer to the track so people complain so they can get it shut down so they can build more houses. It's been done for decades to all racetracks all over the world.

I can personally attest that hosting any kind of philanthropic vehicle event is next to impossible anymore. I’ve had permits, I’m $1mil insured, and still people will ruin it for us. Our events have always been family friendly, calm, and purposeful for the community cars and non cars. It is impossible anymore. Cheers guys and we hope you can push past this.

This isn't actually a bad thing. If you can attract a massive crowd for race wars out in the middle of nowhere, you can charge rent for more vendors and get more sponsors for the events. You could even host your own SEMA or car show with awards for best builds and stock cars. This event could be another income stream for you guys. I don't see a set back here I see opportunity, you can make money from hosting events. Pretty sure the guys that host Wekfest are profitable. You would also be doing a community service by hosting drag race events keeping that stuff off of public streets.
