Born, raised, and still live here in la crosse. 2:04 rivoli theator one of the oldestest theaters here. 3:18 the bluish-greyish apartment building used to not be there. It used to be a cute tiny house. We called it grandma besl's, and it was beautiful in the winter. It even had christmas lights and even the yard was decorated and had santa. Eventually it went from that to red balloon day care which was many for babies. Now it is the apartments. 3:39 Hixton house. There is a decent amount of history.

Leithholds music is worth checking out. It used to be a steamboat company. You can go up a massive stair case made of hardwood and check out some of the upstairs. Just ask. The hardware store on the same block is still one of the old hardware stores and worth checking out too. The new friendship garden at riverside park is outstanding.

We just stopped in LaCrosse for the night, so we didn’t have much of a chance to walk around. Just took a spin around town and hit the road. It looks like an interesting city to explore on foot.

@@spacetrucker2196 I’m sure. We had a number of breweries in New Orleans (Dixie, Jax and Falstaff) but I think they all stopped operations here by the 60s.

La Crosse “area”, although La Farge is 60 miles from La Crosse. I guess they make that claim because it’s the closest city.

I've been watching some of those. During our brief stay there, it just seemed to mostly be a college town with a lot of bars. But alcohol combined with young people tends to result in a lot of police activity.
