From the publisher ~ Six of Swords is actually the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco. This card is about a long journey, so the heroes really traveled to the other end of the country as intended by the author.

Thought it was...as the Brooklyn Bridge (in another card) very different.

This deck is amazing. But I do worry about pulling through the energy of 9/11 into a reading.

I think it is a very gritty deck of a modern world, but I know what you mean. I wonder sometimes if we don't all subconsciously think of that time when we see the Tower Card...for me, as an art historian, knowing the site as it is now, I personally don't think what has been built in it's place is a 'new beginning', which is the positive aspect of the Tower card - so I am conflicted. I respond to the power of the image but as you say, I am not sure....@@theimperfectscrapper5313

This artist really fascinates me. Every time I see one of their decks I wonder how art can look like this with it being done with pen and ink. Never would have thought that you could create this look with that type of art medium.

Hi Simon, great thanks for your review! You're right about The Hanged man - this guy is an acrobat, it's a parkour jump, he dont fall and don't die.

Thank you for presenting this deck. It is a piece of art indeed. Hunting intricate symbolic details is enjoyable. Your keen eye could notice many of them.

Normally, when I watch a tarot flip-through video and the reviewer spends more than five seconds on each card, I find myself tapping my foot impatiently and saying, "come on, come, let's get on with it." But here, not only did I come back for a second watch, but I found myself saying "Wait, wait! I'm not done looking at the card!" Thank God for the pause button, lol! I can't get over the art. It is absolutely stunning. Thank you so much! So glad I found your channel!

Oh god, I was so blown away by the Tower card, because it literally transcends from the symbol and archetype of the tower collapsing to an actual event that is seared into people's collective memory. This looks like an AMAZING deck!! I want this in my collection now. Alas, I live in Canada and I can't find it on Amazon just yet, but I'll keep an eye out!! Awesome!!

Very interesting deck. I lived in NYC in the late 70's, I agree a few cards look earlier than 2000+. Four of Cups looks like Mad Men in 1960! Crossing against the light is jaywalking, and a strip of walkway in the middle of a street is called a median. The Six of Swords isn't the Brooklyn Bridge, it looks more like Golden Gate (I've lived near San Francisco, too). And your only experience of NYC is Newark Airport? My condolences :) Thanks, Simon!

I adore this artist and the style is something similar to Ana Tourain. I do think a trick was missed - The Chariot could have been a NYC Yellow Taxi...

I love the look of the Bloody Tears Tarot, very cool. The art work on this current deck looks so good, I do like it 🥰 I have just purchased a deck from Pentagram Publishing, totally different art work though. I enjoyed seeing this deck 😍❤️

I was intrigued to see if I saw my world reflected in this deck. I think you said it was published in 2024, but I wonder when it was actually created because the imagery seems like a cleaner, homogenized, romanticized and dated version of NYC. Some of the images like the Trade Centers, the mohawks, the fashions, tidier homeless folk and the graffiti particularly seem like time gone by. Did you say it was a Ukrainian creator. Maybe they didn't have current firsthand experience with what the city looks like now. Seems more like the early 80's.

The deck was drawn in 2023 based on old photoы of NY 20-30 years ago.

Seems to me the 2 of Wands image should be the 2 of swords and the 2 of swords should have the 2 of wands image?? Otherwise, gorgeous deck. Thank you for sharing it with us.

What a lovely deck! Two of wands looks more like two of pentacles in my opinion though. Having a bit of a problem with the minors. Wand have hardly any wand like items and such.

Two of Wands is about choice! The girl doesn't know which bag to buy. There is no need to look for objects similar to wands; they are not there anyway.

I love this artist too! I am in love with my Fantasy Garden tarot and it’s is my easiest deck to shuffle. So comfortable in my hands! I may get this. It’s a little dark for me but then I am more of a garden person. NYC is a little dark so it is accurate. I am so fortunate I was able to go twice to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It holds a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for a look at it. I learned about Fantasy Garden from you too. It’s a shame I don’t think I’ve seen it anywhere else on KZbin and it’s such a stunning deck. It only took 10 days to get to me in the US. which I thought was amazing considering.

Interesting deck. It would be more appealing to me if it better represented the great diversity of the people of New York City. Nevertheless, I appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into it.

Wow! I was so excited when you started the walk through but as a New Yorker who lived through 9 11 - the Hanged Man. YIKES! Just no. Ruined the deck for me. I hope they change it
