Welcome Nima, The judge is looking for which breed is closest to the ideal picture of its breed or Breed Standard. So that includes everything, from their shape and outline to their coat texture, their head and expression to their movement and are all of these things completely typical for the breed. The one which the judge considers closest to its Breed Standard (defined by the Kennel Club) they choose as the winner.

Rexie always wears a fashion coordinated blingy collar with his sturdy harness. Small dogs are so prone to prolapsed tracheas. It doesn't take much to trigger it either.

Actually, if you were educated about this type of hobby/ sport, you would know, they make sure the leashes are not pulled that tight. Before a show, they make sure the leashes aren’t too tight.

OOOOK.. SO. You should NOT let a pekingese grow its fure so long.. That is, IF the climate in that area is hot. Because of the pekingese's flat face it does not allow them to pant and let off warmth as easy ):(

PastelRose They have something they use for a lot of breeds, that is made of special fabrics that you put on your dog’s back. This cools the dog down. If you go to a show, especially an outdoor one, you will see the dogs have them on, and they also have a special tent that the handlers set up for their dogs. It keeps it cooler, because it is made out of the same material that the cooling blanket is made of.
