This may be my new favorite song, it’s so joyful. And the pictures of the City Of Rome are so beautiful! To have paintings about it you’d think it would be successful, but not as the original line intended. I listen to this song literally 4 times a day I love to so much.

These ocean liner themed marches are... delightful. CITY OF ROME was a real "looker" but was a dud, designed to be built of steel, completed instead of iron, she was two knots slower than intended so Inman returned her to the builders and Anchor Line wound up running the ship for Barrow but never actually owned her. Request: "The Belgenland March" (1924) by M. Jean Douliez.

I found this song from a roblox game and decided to play it. Thanks for the sheet music.

Achingly beautiful ship. I'm glad she at least got to be in service for a good 20 years, despite her complete failure to live up to admittedly lofty expectations.

Elegant and insouciant, like the ship herself.

This makes me wonder how successful the _City of Rome_ would have been if she _had_ been built of steel like she was originally intended.

It's from 1889. I would assume it is, as any copyright would have expired by now.
