Kevin your right on the money Sierra Leone he's due look at all his races he easily could be undefeated Lost by nose in Derby Lost by head Travers always hits the board also He always spots every horse at least 7 8 lengths because of his closing style Whatever you do Stay away from The Overated inconsistent Jekyll and Hyde horse Fierceness he's not as good as they want you to believe He just barely won the last 2 races He was Dead tired at the finish line He isnt a fighter doesn't like adversity huge fields if he gets bumped or touched anything he's done finished.I can't believe all the people overlooking Sierra Leone unreal to me hes the one perfect set-up this race great trainer Chad Brown great jockey I hope im right his odds could be up there Would be nice .Don't change your mind dont listen to all these Fierceness people ther stuck in their head to me If it took that long for him to win 2 in a row That's a average horse at best I watched his races over and over again n I'm not impressed one bit His bad races are terrible 7th place 8th place 15th place 9th place that's bad Sierra Leone has nothing like that City of Troy is better If the horse Next enters make sure you get him also he's the one that beats every horse average 12 lengths he gets faster the longer the race Good luck

Well done analysis in predicting the best three for Breeders Cup Classic surely I am a City of Troy aficionado hence I know he will be the horse to beat bar incidence I do have a likeness for Fierceness but he has not shown tenacity unlike Dornoch it is a pity Dornoch is absent as the race will have been most interesting Forever Young late kick must kick earlier as the two Principals Troy and Fierceness will be too far up in front end of story

Good analysis, however, just to note that CoT is not a habitual front runner - he came from far back in the Epsom Derby, tracked the pace in the Eclipse and then, based on how the race panned out when they broke from the stalls, ended up winning the Juddmonte from the front. I do agree, however, that he may repeat the front running tactics in the Breeders Cup in order to avoid kickback from the dirt and to exploit his superior stamina.

This horse has a big engine as Ryan Moore said and a stride that gets bigger the more you ask him . No one thought he could win the Derby but he won it with easy on an undulating track he had never raced on before.

Will he run a 67 or 111 in mile and quarter. Cant look a horse on the eye. Needs to be close on outside. 4everyoung got rubbed in k.d . But as trainer said before k.d. might not come cause not that he dislikes kickback but hates it. He has to improve off his 100 k.d.buyer. needs outside post to avoid kickback. Great trainer knows what hes doing. But im leaning towards the 3rd Japanese horse derma sotogake cause hes now 4yr old. Proven on dirt.can be close up and ran 2nd on our classic last year as 3yr old against white abbario a older horse who just ran one of the fastest Whitneys ever against older horses n he did that off a 6 n half month layoff with no preps. Ushba Tesoro n sierra leone big closers. All our usa east n west coast and overseas won by horses on lead or close to it. After listening to Randy Moss, City of Troy is the one I'm throwing out. Gotta throw someone out. Gotta use some piece of info. O' Brian is 2/75 on dirt races. That being said, It's because he's had all turf horses. The reason I'm throwing him out, is his breeding. As Moss pointed out....he's ALLLLLLLLL grass on the bottom side of genealogy. Doesn't mean he won't smash everyone, but again, gotta find a reason to eliminate horses. Moss talked pretty highly of Forever Young. He says Sierra Leone is almost as good as Fierceness, but SL won't have a pace to run at. So personally, I'll still go with a longshot like Arthur's Ride, Highland Falls along with FY and Fierceness. Some combo involving those 4 in an exacta or trifecta.

My thoughts too. A must that F breaks well to assume an early lead. Doesn't have the grit when swallowed in the pack. Win/loss record does not support rumored expectations of HOY. I think COT will be just fine on dirt. FY will mask up and Derma always dangerous. Note F's 111 Beyer rating in the Traverse was equalled by Thorpeda Anna in the same race. She has 2 G1's more than F & a much better win/loss. This is the HOY.
