City Sailing Tidal Heights Tutorial for Day Skipper Courses and Essential Navigation and Seamanship Course.
In this tutorial, we look at how to read a tide table to find high and low water times. We find out how and why tides work with the effect of the earth and moon.
We are shown how to use a tidal curve to work out the height of the tide for any given time during the day.
This tutorial is essential for people studying the Royal Yachting Association Day Skipper Theory Course as we have worked examples and an explanation of secondary ports.
