More roads with more lanes just increases congestion, the more lanes, the more traffic because then more people want to drive, just a suggestion; Make a main highway and have little off-chutes that go to the main destinations of your town. Also, no one likes to live on a 6 lane road, make little residential areas, as well as office, industrial, and shopping (which can be mixed in with the residential.

@EditingGlobe425 bloody hell thanks mate. That makes sense. I've been doing the complete opposite for the roads🤣🤣🤣. I thought maybe more lanes means lesser congestions. I'll try redo the residential area and roads in my next one.
