Yes we could definitely benefit from that, It wouldn't be a hard thing to install, Besides the cost our roads are wide enough to retrofit trams back onto them. All thats needed is that we cut out a few lanes and were there.

I love melbourne trams, they should modernize all of the trams to low deck, so it's easier when people brought their prams

they're working on that thankfully, 100 new low-floor trams will begin to roll out next year, but they won't be able to completely replace all of the remaining high-floor trams. hopefully enough new trams will be ready to phase out the old ones by 2030
