I find it highly ironic and absurd that the city will issue violations for grass this "tall" and yet will let abandoned houses lawns get chest high and not do a damn thing about it.

Alot of what our government, local, state and federal do is absurd. My son at 24 just got his drivers license. He's in the Navy and just had a full physical not even a month ago. However, our state required he take another physical to ensure he was fit to drive. They said the Navy physical didn't count in our state. So $75.00 later, but only 15 minutes with the doctor, and a filled out form he was on his way. I swear they do what they can to get money and justify their jobs. I wonder if they do this will all the people coming over the border who seem to get a whole slew of things given to them?

I’m 73 and for the last five or six years I have been finding it really hard to get my gardens weed free and trimmed. Thank goodness for my son who cuts and trims my lawn and Nutri Lawn for fertilizing and weed killing etc. , I buy a lawn care package every year from them. Take care of your health, it doesn’t get any easier as you age. Love watching your videos.

Im 70 with a pretty large yard. I cut it usually once a week. Lately, the weather has been 100 degrees. Thankfully, the humidity has been low, which is unusual for Alabama. Yesterday and today, we got some good rain over our area. Of course, the air feels like warm soup now. The heat index is predicted to be 108 to 110 this weekend. I totally get that everyone has to be way more careful in these extreme temps. Not sure when I will mow next time, but I will be taking many breaks and may divide the mowing into two days. You take some of these extreme heat days off. 😊😊

I fully understand the working in heat and it's effects on you as you age. In my younger years when working I was a paving inspector and 10-12 hrs next to 325 degree asphalt wasn't a problem. Roll the clock forward to today when I'm in my 70's and I can barely work outside when it's above 85 degrees for more than 1/2 to 1 hr a day. Glad to hear you are looking for help and do take care of yourself.

Looks real nice. I completely understand about the heat. It completely sucks the energy out of you and the older you get the worse it is. I am not going anywhere so you just take care of yourself and your followers will be right here with you. God bless you.

Dont worry about videos your health is so much important than showing us a clean up. Shoot I want do my own yard in this heat. We have 6 acres and we try to pick days that arent so hot.

Now I feel guilty. It's only 68° @ 1:35p.m. here in the Pacific N.W..After your video, I'm going straight outside to clean up my flower beds. Get the grounds cleaned up for the July 4th celebrations. One year I came home from the parade, & there was a young couple sitting on a blanket under the tree. They weren't hurting anything, so I said, "Enjoy your lunch." Trash can is in the back.

Hey don’t worry about it. A lawn transformation is good to watch no matter when you did it. I get what you’re saying about the heat, I’m 57 and my mind says I can do something but my body is starting to say that’s too much!😅

Thats alright Brian, I'm right there with you. I dont care if my grass turns to straw but I'm not going out when the heat indexes says its way high above 100*F. My health wont let me. You do what you can do and dont worry about the rest. We will be watching you when you are online.

Awwww come on Brian 100° is a piece of cake!!! 😂 Our gardners in CA work in 105° - 110°!!! It's 99.9% humidity! I'm from your area and I remember it very well. Your health should ALWAYS be your number one priority!!! Looking forward to seeing the new reels when it's safe.

There is no reason to apologize, Brian. I'm 53, and the heat gets to me as well it's more of the humidity that gets to me but I'll take the heat over cold weather any day. With my RA cold weather wrecks havoc on my joints.
