@NourKLI hmmm and I wonder what raccoons think about humans? “They may seem nice but they can turn on you every moment and attack you not to mention that they invade the habitats of every other animal and destroy natural spaces so we’re forced to interact with them.” Rabies is also a horrible thing for THEM to have so maybe have a little bit of compassion and think about that. This world would be a much better place if we could put ourselves in someone else’s shoes (or paws!) for a day instead of just thinking about ourselves.

In all honestly, they are obese, and they are docile due to their obesity. They live in Toronto as well so they are very understanding of humans/various reactions of humans. This guy wasn't reacting like a little girl and was talking to them, they were probably more interested in listening to him than actually leaving, that's why every single one hesitates at the steps, they liked the non-confrontational vocals he was giving off basically compared to what they've obviously have dealt with. It's always healthier to never be friendly with racoons as they are the number one carrier of rabies in Canada I believe, etc etc. Tl;DR: They are obese and docile, and the man is non confrontational, animals (even non-domesticated/tamed) tend to pick up on vocalizations and body language, and he wasn't being aggressive with his voice or that stick, so they were just like "huh, what's this giant doing, stop poking me, f*ck off fine, do I really gotta go?". Also, those 3 that ran into the wall, f*cking died laughing.

The ones in my backyard are nasty and they have absolutely ZERO fear of humans. I’ve sprayed GALLONS of vinegar, put tons of black pepper, done the timed sprinklers and also the bright lights and loud noises. They don’t care AT ALL! They attacked an orphaned wild bunny that lives in my Yard, I can’t believe the bunny survived but her injuries were horrible. I just want them GONE, but trapping them would take ages bc there are sooooo many. Raccoons are the only animal on Earth that I DESPISE. I wish there was something I could do to keep them out for good! I never knew that their feces are toxic to dogs and human beings until I started watching videos on how to get them to stay away. Ugh 😩 it’s soooo frustrating!! The ones in my yard are total opposites of the ones in this video! They didn’t lunge toward the guy, especially when he was coaxing them out the door w that rod and they didn’t make that loud deep growling noise either. 🆘 🚨
