I have banked with Citibank everywhere from Kuala Lampur to Singapore to Delhi to of course USA but not in EU or Canada. Citibank specifically told me when I asked them about Toronto that Canadian government wont allow them to operate as a major bank and they dont want to be in a market if they are not in top 3 and specially given Canada's decreasing productivity, disposable income and population there is no business case for them or other big international banks to operate in Canada.
