The police will not intervene unless crimes are being committed, other than trespassing. The university is condoning the trespass by not attempting to remove them, so nothing for the police to do. The university is on its own. Good knowin’ ya. When this is over, the squatters may end up owning an acre or two of real estate in downtown Toronto. Sweet. Maybe they will build a large homeless shelter and healing centre with sacred fires on it.

Protesting is a Canadian right but there is a time and place. Taking over private property, by pitching tents, using university facilities to brush teeth etc is not a right. We just got over covid. Congregating on the private lawns is definitely unhygienic 🤢🤮🤢
