Many including Queen Sheba, brought gifts of gold, gems, and spices to King Solomon in the first temple period. Various treasures from around that region of the world should be discovered during the excavations and bring validity to The Book of Kings and King Solomon. Cool stuff!

The recent discovery of vanilla in excavated pieces of wine vases was interesting. Perhaps it was Queen Sheba who introduced vanilla along with the other spices, to King Solomon that caused them to use it. Again, cool stuff.

Congratulations on the recent discovery of the ivory plaques from the First Temple period. As you pointed out in a recent video, they are among the few found anywhere in the world, and the first of their kind to be found in Jerusalem. Since they may have been inlaid in wooden furnishings, it makes sense that they survived the fire vs the wood chairs that they were set into.
