Chief seems like a very knowledgeable and humble guy. I'm a Lt/Medic at my department in Florida - I can definitely relate to when medic units request PD but give zero reference or stop answering the radio immediately after making the request. Their work schedule is odd to us as we're on the typical 24/48 schedule. I'm sure it's got its pros and cons though.

Of course the PD likes to keep it vague when you are requested. Which usually means it’s a turf job.

So is his call sign Battalion 4x? I would of thought that him being C Shift leader he would be Battalion would be Battalion 43, but regularly Battalion on the air is a female.
