I find it ironic that Universal is MUCH cleaner than Disney World. The last time I went to WDW, the maintenance was hit or miss. Some areas were clean, others were in bad shape.

11:36 - Don't worry parents, in the winter months, the fountain is turned off so your kids aren't going to catch a cold. I have no idea if it's worth the f-freezing weather to come in winter to avoid the crowds. The only benefit I see is that if you bundle your entire vacation package together and book it through Universal entirely and stay at their hotels, they give you a discount on the room. I went in January and, brrrr, it was freezing cold but it did scare away the early morning crowds. On the other hand, it did warm up by afternoon and Diagon Alley (which is on the other side of Universal) was PACKED by 4 pm. Universal did lift seasonal restrictions on hot butterbeer so your kids can drink it if they're shivering. It does wonders for a nervous tummy too.

15:30 - PS: if your toddlers do get drenched on Bluto's river rapids ride, those two things that are blue inside are dryers but I think you pay $1 or 2 to use them.

This seems like a really busy day. Is this busy? I've never been there before but I'm going in about a week on Feb 28/March 1 and I'm hoping it's not too crazy and crowded.

I can't say for sure. I went in January and the crowds were more or less like this but it was frrreeezing cold. Hope it warms up by the time you get there. Are you going to both parks? I strongly recommend a minimum of THREE days. One day in Universal, one in Islands of Adv. and the third is at the park you like the most. Remember, if you're coming mainly for the Harry Potter theme parks, they are so large that they're split across Universal. Hogsmeade is to the left (Islands of Adv.). Diagon Alley is to the right (where the famous tan arch entrance is).
