Great video! We are going this week, my biggest take away were: bring a collapsible cup, bring a clear lanyard so you don’t lock up your ticket on accident, bring a battery pack for your phone, shows are a good way to get out of the sun, wear comfortable clothes.

One trick to let people know Universal sells lanyards and water resistant pouches that attached to the lanyards and you can wear them around your neck and get a print off ticket to put inside the pouch. All you do is hold pouch up and they can scan it and put it inside your shirt on rides like roller coasters and it wont come off your neck. The lanyards and pouches can be purchased on Universal Store online or inside the theme park. Another thing you can purchase a cup to refill all day long so your not paying for drinks when you need one threw out the day

Bring an empty water bottle or collapsible cup with carabiner attached. You can get free ice and water from any Coke freestyle machines in parks and city walk. Lockers for ride are long and slim. So you need to lay your bottle on its side to fit. So it needs to be empty. Avoid this by using a collapsible cup!

From a cast member; the reason why they don’t have the Hogwarts castle night time shows and singing frog shows etc posted is because it’s coming straight from the top. They have to get permission from JK Rowling for a set schedule. (While keeping all theming immersive) it also means they can’t post regular set schedules for any HP themed shows.

1.5 years for Epic Universe .. can't get here soon enough. I was shocked to hear FL hasn't had a brand new theme park in 20 years. Considering the Harry Potter rides are above all in the world in terms of the tech, they're still like 10 years old. Can't wait to find out how amazing Universal's new dark rides will be with 10 years of advancements

A mini backpack will fit on the lockers and can carry just as much as a reg backpack , which the reg backpacks wont fit in the free lockers

Question please!! My phone has my tickets and hopefully my fast pass soon as well. So what happens on the rides I need to lock my phone up? How will I scan for fast pass and get back into the locker? I don’t wanna lose my phone on a ride. And I could bring a paper copy of my ticket but not the fast pass if it’s mobile right? And then I worry if it gets wet. ADVICE PLEASE:):) Thanks!!!

I would be sure to stop by and ask a team member, as I’m sure they have a system for phone tickets and you can also always grab paper tickets from any of the booths even if you have the tickets on your phone!!

It’s just a shame that there are no Harry Potter characters to interact with. I mean, once a year during the Halloween season, you can fight off nasty Death Eaters. But, I would love to see characters like our boy, Harry Potter himself, and, my favorite character, Sirius Black! Among others! Can we make that happen, Universal? Please?

I want to plan a week vacation for when epic universe launches next year. Would it theoretically be cheaper to buy a Season pass for all 3 parks (studios, island, and epic), buy separate tickets for the parks, or get a vacation package ( the goal is to stay at the Helios hotel to have quick access to Super Nintendo Land and the Ministry of Magic ). The plan is to make my way backwards from Epic to Isles then to Studios via the Hogwarts Express

The park is way too complicated to figure out. I would never go there. Unless your a Harry Potter freak0 forget it. Some rides are included, some parks are and are not included, this ride is not included, on and on and on...
