Hello, For someone that is afraid of roller coasters 🎢 what would you suggest for them? 👀

I was super scared of roller coasters all my life as well. This past February I went to WDW and Universal and broke that fear. I started out a bit small with the rides like Hagrid's motorbike's which is like a fast mini coaster and also like Gringotts and the Mummy are a bit of indoor coasters. For me the biggest fear was the heights so being indoors and the drops not really being seen made it a lot easier. Finally I took a chance and did the Hulk coaster. the scariest part of the coaster in my mind was the slow climb on the first hill; the Hulk gets rid of that by being partially enclosed and then launching you at fast speeds so you're up and moving before you know it. Immediately after I finished the Hulk I went right back in line and did it again! I'm going back again this fall and planning on doing them all over again and also doing the Velocicoaster as well. I admit that I'm scared of that one just for the one big hill but its over in seconds. You could try watching some POV videos from the coasters so you have an idea what to expect.

You can have them start with Flight of the Hippogriff which is conveniently next to Hogwarts. Then inside Hogwarts is something more intense: Harry Potter and the forbidden journey. Those are on Islands of Adventure along with Hagrid's motorbike adventure, which is a mild coaster but still a bit intense for very young kids. In the main area of Universal, there's Harry Potter and the escape from Gringotts which is similar to Forbidden Journey. Sadly, the Mummy coaster was probably torn down already. It was one of their most intense coasters. The Velocicoaster, Ripride Rocket and the Incredible Hulk are definitely the top three most intense coasters in all of Universal.

Forgot to mention, the Simpsons ride is like a massive flight simulator but I wouldn't recommend it for those with epilepsy or motion sickness caused by dark enclosed spaces.
