Maybe the fans were frustrated about the phase of play that happened a couple of minutes before West Ham Scored. City had a free kick on the half way line. Our defenders moved up expecting a ball into the WH penalty area. What did we do ? Played it short sideways and then back to our keeper. Ball came out and then back , then sideways and back again. A long diagonal pass then intercepted and West Ham in 2 passes scored. That pissed me off also . I don't know if this is Peps tactics or poor decision making by the players. What I do know is every other team in the PL would have played forward from that free kick. Fans pay big money to watch exciting football and do not like their team playing back to their keeper especially from an attacking position. Yes we won 4-1 . Could easily have been 4-5 .

Jack tends to give the ball away far less than players chosen ahead of him, and City's recent defensive frailty seemed to mostly originate down their left.
