Kǒito_ It's not that sjin is shit, he is good as you can see from his previous game, but it's that he doesn't really try or care to win. He plays the game to have fun and mess around.

Honestly they are all roughly as skilled as eachother. The real difference is in motivation. Lewis really wants to win. So much so that he practices this game alot and is willing to go tryhard alot. This means he understands the mechanics of the game more than anyone else, and he keeps it as secret as possible and he was always ruthless when other people were experiencing techinichal dificulties. He is also much more willing than other people to just go to war, aside from pyrion obviously. A really good example of this is the datlof game. Somehow until the last few games where Lewis always just got stomped on as fast as possible people always expected peace, they said oh no I am next to lewis I am going to die and did not build up an army. Lewis did and early on kept beating the people he attacked. When sjin attacked lewis he was actually fighting a pretty even war until he just stopped making units allowing lewis to kill his dudes. Ben's instant reaction to losing his army was to sue for peace whilt Lewis, once he lost his city to sjin, was willing to fight that war. And since Lewis keeps fighting once he starts losing and the other players stop fighting when they are winning it makes him seem disproportionately good. In one of the later games where dunc was Russia he played the lewis role and actually was beating lewis 1v1 albeit slowly.
