I don't think it is, I think it might be the TSL map renaming cities based on what's there in real life regardless of who settled it.

@@0th_Law *Some* TSL maps, especially from YNAEMP, do have a function that lets you do that. You can kind of see it with France settling Strasbourg, which is a German city.

Yep it's the TSL map, it's clever. If you notice as well the name of a city ill even change depending on who owns it (France vs Rome for instance)

I would go with Byzantium. The dromon already has a range of 2. Next to a properly promoted phantom ship you can get dromons with a range of three firing twice per turn. With crusade.... sick.

Hi Ursa, a question: when I am totally disconnected from the internet, the last update to Civ prevents me from initiating the game (you have to be connected to Steam). How do you do it?

I find if you have steam set to offline mode I can get in - never had the issue actually now you mention it. Often I play offline to make filming easier

Ooohh - good question - Deity ++ I think. The background bonuses the AI gets makes them no walk in the park. I prefer real strategy though
