In this game of Civ 6, we’ll be playing as Tamar’s Georgia as we take on a difficult challenge in Civilization Six.
Welcome to Deity ++, a mode 2 levels harder than regular deity difficulty. We’ll be playing a primodial map, but we’ll also have has access to an extra district, unit and cultural ability! This is supercharged Georgia! Alas, the AI is also supercharged…!
Today we’ll be practicing the “economic” start - settlers, gold and faith. What happens when we avoid science for the longest time??

The chained golden ages (and settler spam in classical, medieval, and renaissance era) is something that barely anyone talks about in the civ community. It has to be one of the best mechanics that you can absolutely abuse when playing as Georgia in civ 6. This is why Georgia is one of my favorite (underrated) civs in civ 6. Just get John D Rockefeller (wait I mean magnus) (honestly he looks like John D Rockefeller though) and set up his ugenics program (wait I mean provision promotion) Then get ancestoral hall, along with the colonialization card. Then just spam golden ages (and settlers) to the max. Huzzah!?! Wait no, Huzzah!!!

24:50, I think Bandar Brunei being killed made it momentarily pop up in the city state screen, since an unmet city state was defeated

Ah, that was a glorious settler spam, indeed! Soon, the lands shall be covered with Georgian towers. Which is kind of cool because I'm pretty sure I saw some of those in a Yes Theory video where they visited Georgia.

You're actually unknowingly following the multiplayer meta, which is optimal and very effective for deity++, namely focusing on cities and economy combined with production instead of science, preparing for exponential growth later.

It works well in MP but it's not quite optimal in SP given the huge AI advantage at the start - but still a lot of fun!

@@UrsaRyan For a long time I played Deity without DLCs etc. For me the only way I could beat it was with this kind of strategy. Once I got the DLCs, everything became easier and many other strategies worked. But this kind of strategy is close to my heart.

The city-state hide and seek might be the game dealing with a barb camp being placed. It could be what it will become if allowed and the game hiccups the info panel.

If you’re playing Georgia here’s a tip good starts will be a great game but bad starts will be a terrible one. Even if it’s opposed to the philosophy of play every start I really recommend restarting once or twice
