வீ கே ராமசாமி அவர்களின் பேட்டியில் ஒரு துளி .... பராசக்தி சூட்டிங் நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருந்த சமயம்.சூட்டிங் முடிந்ததும் வீகேஆர் கம்பெனி காரில் வீட்டுக்கு புறப்பட்டு செல்வார்.காரில் அவருடன் அய்யனும் செல்வார்.சில சமயங்களில் அவர் வீட்டில் சாப்பிடவும் செய்வார்.தன் மனதில் உள்ளதை மறைக்காமல் வீகேஆருடன் அந்ததருணங்களில் மனம் விட்டுப் பேசுவார்.அப்போதே நெருங்கி பழகி வந்தனர். பராசக்தி படமும் ரிலீசாச்சு.எங்கே பார்த்தாலும் படம் பத்தியே பேச்சு.அதாவது அய்யனைப் பற்றிய பேச்சேதான்.ஓவர் நைட் ல பெரிய ஹீரோவாகிவிட்டார்.எக்கச்சக்க வாய்ப்புகள் தேடி வருகிறது. அப்பொழுது கூட மாறவில்லை. வீகே ஆருடன் வந்து பேசி விட்டுத்தான் செல்வாராம்.அப்ப ஒருநாள் அய்யன் கிளம்புகையில் டாக்ஸி பிடித்து வர ஆள் அனுப்பினார்.அந்த நாளில் பெரிய டாக்ஸி, பேபி டாக்ஸி, ஆட்டோ மூன்றும்தான் வாடகை சவாரி செல்லும் வண்டிகளாம்.ஆட்டோ தான் கிடைத்தது என்று அந்த ஆள் ஆட்டோவை கொண்டு வந்து நிறுத்தினார். அந்த ஆட்டோவில் ஏறும் முன் அய்யன் வீகேஆரிடம் சொன்னாராம்."அண்ணே! வி.கே.ராமசாமி அண்ணே இந்த சினிமா உலகம் எதிர்காலத்துல என் கையிலேதான். அப்ப உங்களையும் கவனிச்சுக்குவேன்." எப்பேர்ப்பட்ட மகான்னு நினைக்கத் தோணுது என்று பின்னாளில் வீகேஆர் நினைத்துக் கொள்வதுண்டாம். அவர் நடிகர் மட்டுமில்ல, அபார சக்தி படைத்த மனிதரென்றும் அப்புறம் தான் தெரிந்தது, வாக்கு கொடுத்தபடி என்னையும் மறக்க வில்லை .

Exactly. U may be Right. Most probably, it may be due to difference of opinion between GN Velumani & Sivaji, but, not due to difference of opinion between Sridhar & Sivaji. Because, after the Baaga Pirivinai & Paalum Pazhamum, we could not see any Sivaji Ganesan's Pictures produced by GN Velumani despite the huge success of these 2 films. Whereas Sridhar directed 3 films of Sivaji, viz, Nenjirukkum Varai, Ooty Varai Uravu & Sivandha Munn during the period 1967 to 1969.

G. N. Velumani produced many excellent films both in Tamil & Hindi featuring Sivaji, MGR, K.R Vijaya. Sadly he became a paupper without a penny at the end of his life. Music director( Shankar) Ganesh is the son in law of Velumani. You have not mentioned another fact in the relationship between Sridhar & Sivaji. Their relationship soured after or during the making of Vairanenjam film. After this film Sridhar patched up with MGR & started producing and directing MGR films reportedly due to some issue with Sivaji.

Sridhar later directed 'Mohana punnagai' (1981) with Sivaji as hero. Despite some issues their association was a long one from 1954 (Ethirparathathu) to. 1981.

Actually, Mr. Sridhar wasted Sivaji Ganesan CallSheet while making VairaNenjam. This film was sold out when the pooja happened day itself. Sridhar used this money to make parellely 2 other tamil films. During the shoot of Vaira Nenjam, he tried to manage with his assistants, the shots of Sivaji Ganesan as Sridhar went to direct the other two movies. The assistants did not know to work at the speed of Sivaji Ganesan or Sridhar. Many doubts were to be cleared by Sridhar and he was not accessible. The Call sheet of Sivaji was wasted by Sridhar. At that time, Sivaji was doing around 14 films at a time. Therefore, getting his callsheet again was obviously a problem. So, it was basically Mr. Sridhar's fault. He forgot that it was Sivaji who made Sridhar the producer without even taking one ruppee and permitted Sridhar to use his consent to generate finance for the film Amaradeepam which was the first production of Sridhar. He did not patch up with MGR... MGR at that time was trying to capture Sivaji's directors producers etc. Sridhar was one catch. He did not make so many movies with MGR...He made Urimaikural in 1974 and MeenavaNanban.... That's all. Urimaikural was silver jubilee film and Meenavananban was a 100 days film. There was no specific gain for sridhar. Afterall , he is another director whose job is to direct anybody's film. It is the media that gave over undeserving hype !

Pls don't be one sided. One should be neutral while exchanging views in the social media like U Tube. I admired Sivaji GaNesan's many old films. But, at the same time, we can't take way the due credit given to MGR. MGR may not be a great Actor, but certainly a great action hero. We should accept that he excelled in stunt scenes very well in many films with his awesome performances and his films were mainly entertainment oriented and we cannot compare both Sivaji & MGR. Both are great in their own way and in their own style.

Infact, there were many action heroes ...Mr.Jaishankar stunts were more realistic than Mr.Mgr. MGR will take only three hits from villain. And he will hit them for 10 minutes. This is not realistic. A villain is supposed to be mentally physically more if not equally stronger than hero.please check Jaishankar, ரவிச்சந்திரன் ஸ்டண்ட்...they will be more realistic. Sir, I am not an MGR fan. But, GN Velumani produced quite a number of films with MGR. Padagotti, Kalangarai Vilakkam, Kudiyirundha Kovil, Naan Yen Pirandhen.TR Ramanna produced many films. Paasam, Panakkara Kudumbam, Panam Padaithavan, Periya Idathu PeN, Parakkum Paavai. BR Bandhalu did Aayirathil Oruvan, Naadodi, Ragasiya Police, Thedi Vandha Maapillai, Maduraiyai Meetta Sundrapandian. This's just for yr info pls. Of course, we have read some of the producers who did films with MGR had faced call sheet problems as he was said to be a moody person and used to postpone the shootings some times.
