Tbh everyone let me tell you the truth. Lewis is a normal player, he's not bad nor awesome (but he is good). He's that far ahead because he know's what to go straight for as the game starts (and analyzes his resources). It's literally because no one else knows how to play the game and barely have strategies. Lewis needs to do a Training camp of some kind :D

Jelly is the most wasteful and preserves are more time consuming. Jam likely has its popularity in the UK for that reason. You need to make due with what you have, and so be very efficient with it. I live in the state of California,and strawberries are a big part of the economy where I live, as well as grapes, and cattle. That is why I now about the ways we preserve fruit other than drying of freezing.
