GoPro of Foreign Fighter Destroying Russian BMP
This never before seen footage shows the NLaw being used by an international legion member to take out a Russian BMP. Afterwards, a firefight ensues, and they continue assessing the situation while taking contact and maintaining fire superiority. Taken from my buddy’s GoPro!

Another few things about the BMP-2M that makes it just THAT much scarier than the base BMP-2 is that it has an extra 30mm grenade launcher on top of the turret and 4x Kornet ATGMs (two on each side of the turret.) With provisions for 4 more stored inside. It also has High definition thermal sights. AND it can carry a newer APFSDS belt for it's 30mm. Glad this on is off the table, even if it is just one.

Regarding the survivability of the target. It wasn't being repeatedly hit. The first hit that immobilized it was from an NLAW that has target tracking capability. The subsequent shots were from an RPG type system the RPG 7 ("typical" RPG with the big grenade in front of the launcher with pistol grip handle) and what look like RPG 26 (smaller tubes with no pistol grip). The NLAW has about double the effective range of the RPG systems and can guide itself to the target after the operator follows it. The RPG systems are at the upper end of their maximum effective range and have no guidance. Multiple grenades are fired as they try to find the right holdover adjustment to reach the target. At least twice, you can hear the RPG 7 shooter call out "short" despite the cameraman cheering. Later, when a range finder shows up, they say the BMP is at 360m. This is probably outside the smaller RPG 26's effective range and a decent lob for the RPG 7 (despite the listed maximum range of 900m where the grenade self destructs).

It's interesting to see how tough some of those things actually are. There's enough videos out where it seems those BMP's burst like popcorn from just about anything. One wonders at times why they're even used... and yet.. here's a competent squad laying on hits with 5 rockets before it actually stops being a threat. Maybe the other vids just show the kill shots, and not what it actually took to get there. Your footage is always amazing. Thank you for posting and please, stay safe (if you can).

Damn I know this is real life. Real people dying. But it's crazy how good the game Squad can do at simulating situations like this. Not every time. Not every match. But occasionally you get some super intense firefights with loads of communications, logistics. The way that tech rolled up with rockets and people are yelling to unload it. The sounds. They nailed it.

If you want the short answer, do you like to work in extremely hectic and stressful environment or in the monotone and tedious back of pharmacy room, then yeah. People's lives will depend on you. If you get away after rolling up on a crossroad and shooting, twice, you should probably not go back to that spot again unless you control the area. For those who may not know, OTA on the NLAW causes the device to pitch the rocket up slightly in flight but unlike the javelin which drills into the top armor and liquifies everything in the vehicle, the rocket detonates right above the vehicle and showers it with molten metal fragments and plasma. Probably a shittier way to go since the rocket doesn't directly hit the vehicle.

@@rrai1999 you must be unaware that we are way past those times, today a jet fighter will launch on a target in such distance and height that almost no SAM in existence can get a lock on it (let alone a bunch of amateurs who barely know how to use an RPG).. the Russians have such jet (they did not deploy even a single one of them to Ukraine yet though), there are certain missiles once launched can be further adjusted and even change target. and you are wrong, the Russians are IMHO not even using a tenth of their capacity, biggest hint - they only send to Ukraine pretty much their "garbage" (some call it "expired ammo") and normal soldiers (some call it "cannon fodder"), not even one single advanced military equipment was ever seen in usage, no special units were deployed (they have some really badass special ops, regardless of if you are against Russia or not)
