I like his system an genius subs an equipment are very big in Mexico iv seen many competition videos of these already surprisingly they do very well,an from what I've seen they are a 160db sub an above . From what I seen they were in compact vehicles too.

Just quick, that front chamber is 'NOT' tuned at 44. Impossible, his lucky to have 10cft in there if that and that opening is at least 400sqin just by looking at it with zero depth on it. That is easily over a 60hz tune and doing nothing at all, same shit everyone has been dealing with, with these small 1:1 ratio 2 18s 6ths. Unless you have a bigger ratio like a 1 : 1.5 and at least 15cft+ and a much smaller port than this one, you may get CLOSE to 44hz and thats pushing it.

Hi Jacob. I have a question to ask you if you don't mind regarding a smell coming from my sub. It's an NSV4 18 from Sundown. On certain songs (high 20's Hz) I get a smell from it even though my smd aamp-1 says I'm not even at the rms rating of the sub with no clipping. I'm sure it's normal but just wanted to make sure. It's not a bad smell but I do notice it and can even smell it with only 1100 watts going to it. Love your videos man!

If its a new sub then it could possibly be the voice coil glue warming up, pretty typical for sundown subs shouldn't mean anything at all, hope you didn't get a dud!
