Yes, 7300 rpm is a safe.

Unless you changed out the rods and rod bolts, if stock bottom end I wouldn't rev the R18's past 7200 to be safe / reliable. 😊

You should start by increasing the air volume and increasing exhaust ventilation. I recommend a bigger throttle and extend the exhaust pipe by more than 2.2 inches.

i have some question bro, should we replace the spring and retainer if we want to upgrade the cam with skunk2 stage 2? if so, how about replace the cam with stage 1? but the question is i don't see anyone selling the stage 1. or.. maybe i can look for some shops than can custom the camshaft. the only problem is i don't know what's the oem camshaft's intake duration & exhaust duration lift angle and the milimeter

skunk2 stage 2 valve adjustment, use OEM values The exhaust vents better than the OEM because the R18's exhaust valve is very small.

Bro plz suggest, will it be better if we put r20a whole head assembly with r18 5 gear transmission, and then we tune it with hondata. Will it be a good upgrade? Like I have 2007 r18a sedan 4 door manual 5 speed transmission. How much horse power u think I will gain by putting r20a head assembly with r18 gear and the. Tune it with hondata, rpm range till 7500 rpm, stock is 6900 rpm.

I recommend the R18 because high rpm is better than R20. You may add in the engine compression Or use the crank of the R20, it will work better. You change it to R20A. But if you want something simple, the R20A is simple and provides good torque.

@@CivicR18Story yes it's block is r18, I have seen your modification list, u have put r20 crankshaft in it which makes it different from r18, anyways good effort, keep it up, plz suggest me I have r18a stock engine manual 5 speed, in our country Pakistan r20 head assembly are very cheap, will it be good power increase if I swap r20 head assembly and tune it, k tuner or hondata. Or I just tune my stock r18a1 manual 5 speed, my best time of 0 to 100 is 8 sec on stock r18a. Stock ecu. But with empty original cat.both filters pulled out.

@@hassansafeer7411 If you want that R20A, you get good torque. And at high revs, you won't get the horsepower and torque as good as the R18. I recommend using an R20 drop in to a R18 crankshaft.
